How we verify

Everything we report about a provider's credentials comes from a public record we can link to. This page describes how we do that, and — just as importantly — what we don't claim.

What counts as a source

Every fact is dated

A license verified today can lapse tomorrow. So we date every record-derived claim — "as of July 2026" — and we re-check them on a schedule. If you are making a decision, confirm current status directly with the issuing board. We link the registry so you can.

We state records; we don't conclude beyond them

We report what a document says and show you the document. We do not infer competence, intent, or quality of care from a record, and we do not characterize a provider beyond what the record supports.

What we do not do

Corrections

If we've published something inaccurate — or a record we cited has changed — tell us and we will fix it. See corrections.
